Sera van de Water (NL, 2001) is a graphic designer and researcher based in Antwerp, Belgium. Her practice explores the role and limits of design in contemporary society, creating layered visual essays across editorial design, collage, posters, video, and print, combining analogue and digital techniques. Recent projects experiment with collective working methods and question authorship. She completed a BA in Graphic Design (2024) and an MA in Design in Sociopolitical Context (2025) at Sint Lucas School of Arts Antwerp. Alongside her practice, she has contributed to internships with Nina Paim, Sara Kaaman, and Maryam Fanni, and worked on editorial and collaborative projects, including Studio Saudari’s The Jungle (2025). She is currently available for design, research and writing commissions and can be contacted via email.
