Sera van de Water (NL, 2001) is a graphic designer and editor currently based in Porto, Portugal. Her practice explores the role and limits of design in contemporary society, creating layered visual essays across editorial design, collage, posters, video, and print, combining analogue and digital techniques. She completed a BA in Graphic Design (2024) and an MA in Design in Sociopolitical Context (2025) at Sint Lucas School of Arts Antwerp. Alongside her practice, she currently assists Nina Paim as editorial assistant at Bikini Books, and has previously contributed to internships with Sara Kaaman and Maryam Fanni. She has also worked on editorial and collaborative projects, including Studio Saudari’s The Jungle (2025) and TEMPTRESS #6 (2026).
